Best part about my role?
Knowing that almost every Saturday morning I get doughnuts with the set-up team...no...but seriously. I would say the best part of my role on staff would be growing in relationships. Gathering for church on Sunday can go only so far, that’s why I am so stoked about the position I am in: it allows me to grow week in and week out with some of the most servant hearted people I have ever met.

Faith story?
Growing up in West Michigan is enough said for those of you that have been here your whole life. Religiosity has always been apart of growing up here. I have been so blessed to have grown up in a loving Christian home.  However, not until I met Jesus and His Word in a profound way at the end of high school, did the Gospel breath into my life. For most of my adolescence the Scriptures seemed like a good idea but not a necessity.

Matthew 4:4 says - Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’

Entering into the post college world, these words have a renewed place in me. God has revealed the best way to live in His Word. “He who walks uprightly and works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart...He that does these things will never be moved.” –Psalm 15:2, 5

I am a transformed follower of Jesus Christ.

Favorite place on earth?
My favorite place on earth is by far hiking the Grand Canyon.

What do you count as the greatest invention of the last 100 years? Why?
I have no idea how anyone in college could get through without the internet. This is by far the greatest invention – and if you got through college without it – meet up with me and I’ll take you out for coffee!
