Stewardship + Giving

Personal stewardship may be defined as what we do with what we have. In this arena God’s desire for us is simple. He wants us to be wise managers of all He has entrusted to us and to give generously in response to His great love.

As the recipient of funds that are entrusted for God’s work, we have a profound responsibility to ensure that each dollar is spent wisely. We are accountable to both you and God to uphold that trust.

Spending money is not the same as spending money wisely. Therefore, each year several months are spent prayerfully seeking God’s guidance in determining and approving the allocation of each year’s budget. Input is sought from our team leaders, our Staff, our Finance Team, and our Elder Board in fleshing out our master plan and budget for each fiscal year. Before new budgets are set, past spending and programs are reviewed to measure their efficiency in accomplishing intended goals.

Our Staff is challenged and expected to be wise stewards of the budgets entrusted to them. Our books are audited in-house every month by our church Treasurer. And our elder board reviews financial statements monthly.

All contributions are received and recorded in a confidential manner by our Financial Accountant Brandon Hirth, Year-end giving statements are mailed in January of each year.
