Where are you rooted? This is an important and vital question to consider because roots bring life and nourishment or death and starvation. At the marriage retreat, we will reflect on God’s intent for marriage, examine our root system, and invite the gospel to revive and bring new life to our relationships. Every marriage could benefit from time away to rest, recharge, and refocus. Join us for great community, lots of fun, and renewal for your marriage!
The Retreat Leaders
The last two retreats have been described as real, raw, and practical. We continue this tradition by inviting some of our own to share their lives with us.
Brandon and Gabe Hirth
Brandon and Gabe met through friends and immediately knew they were going to marry. Things clicked quickly and naturally. Yet, the reality remains - there are no storybook marriages. Through moves across the country, and even across continents, Brandon and Gabe’s commitment has been tested. These challenges have served to forge a stronger bond between the two, caused them to cling to God, and filled them with passion to help walk alongside others as well. They are beyond excited to share some of these lessons at this year’s marriage conference.
Mark + Stephanie TeSlaa
With the goal of chasing the perfect marriage and family, Mark and Stephanie experienced the roller coaster ride of a marriage not grounded in God. However, God, in his grace, wrote a story of redemption on the pages of their marriage, igniting them with a passion to encourage and equip marriages to be all that God intended them to be. Even after nearly 22 years of marriage, they continue to learn daily that vulnerability and intimacy in marriage takes time, intention, and humility.
