Sermon Application Questions | Exodus 25

Every week, we will be posting a series of questions related to this week's sermon, as a way of applying the message to our lives. Please feel free to discuss these with your families around the dinner table, friends, house church, or any other members of your community!

Rod said - God takes us out of Egypt, and He takes us in to Himself. Explain that from your life.

In Hebrew, the word for worship is “avodah”. This Hebrew word is also their word for “work”. How is our work our highest form of our worship to God? Do you see your work as your worship?

God asked Israel to build a sanctuary. Read Leviticus 26:11-12 What is the promise of this Text? To “walk among” is the same unique form of the verb “to walk” that is found in Genesis 3:8. What is the significance of this?

Have you made space for God? How so? In your marriage? In your work? In your home and family?

Have you experienced His “Shekinah” in your life? Explain.
