To spur young adults on to grow in the knowledge and grace of Jesus Christ, remaining faithfully present in Church and society for the glory of God and His Kingdom.
Nathan & Jana, along with their four children Ben, Norah, Olive, and Ari have been a part of the Crossroads community for the past ten years. Nathan originally hails from the Pacific Northwest and met his wife while attending Bible college here in Michigan. They have had the joy of serving in the worship and marriage ministries as well as other lay leadership opportunities throughout the years. After being commissioned and sent out by Crossroads in 2015 to serve as support staff for a church plant in England, the English family returned to the states with a call to step into full time ministry.
Resident Care Pastor
Gabe Hartfield joined the team at Crossroads in summer of 2021. He moved to Grand Rapids to attend seminary at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. During his time at seminary, he started a college ministry at Davenport University through InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. After serving as a campus minister for 7 years, he felt a call to step into pastoral ministry in a church context. His desire is to help young adults know Jesus better through scripture, experience Christ through community, and take ownership over their faith.
Young Adults Administrative Partner
Tammy has been a part of Crossroads since 2007 and has been honored to be a part of the Young Adults team since 2017, helping coordinate Tuesday and Wednesday night events, serving with communications, and discipleship. She and Joel have been married since August, 2020. They have an 8-year-old son named Andrew, and a baby joining the family in the summer of 2021. In her free time, Tammy enjoys learning new recipes (and watching cooking shows), barre workouts, traveling, hiking, reading, and spending time at home, and with family & friends.
