Our very own Tom and Britney Ritz have led a newlywed house church group over the last 7 years. In their personal experience, the first year of marriage can be challenging, and sometimes down right difficult. They desire to open their hearts and homes to newly married couples to create a comfortable place where couples feel safe and supported through the transition and learning process of blending two lives into marriage and discover all that God intended it to be! It's also a great place to meet other couples in a similar season of life.
The group focuses on the top stressors in marriage. Typically, guest speakers teach once a month and then Tom and Britney lead a discussion during the second meeting in the month.
This opportunity is great for a couple who isn't currently connected in community at Crossroads and is looking to start their marriage off with intentional community. Because of the relationship focus, we do ask that couples are committed to attendance and participation.
The Ritz' live in Conklin MI which is near Coopersville (northwest of GR). Make sure you map it because it can be a distance for some people.
They meet every other week on Sunday evenings 6-8pm starting on September 26th and going until April/May.
The group is limited to 5 couples - first come, first serve.
If you have questions, want to see the full schedule, or desire to sign up, please email Britney.
