Created for Intimacy Marriage Getaway

Created for Intimacy Marriage Getaway
February 3–5 | Gull Lake Ministries

After saying “I do”, every couple hopes for an intimate marriage on all levels – physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Many couples find themselves exhausted and sometimes hurt when repeated interactions build walls between them. How does a couple create a deeply connected relationship and stop the unhealthy patterns? Join us as we explore these questions:

  • What is God’s design for vulnerability and intimacy?
  • What impact does sin and shame have on our intimacy?
  • What are some gospel solutions to redeem and restore intimacy?

So if you are open to learning, join us to discover how our ultimate marriage to Christ provides a path to intimacy for every couple.

The marriage retreat is also a great way to meet other couples at Crossroads and find some restful time away as a couple. The retreat schedule is designed with an ample amount of downtime so couples can have fun, rest, or meet other people - whatever your marriage needs in this season!

Registration has officially closed. If you would like to be on a cancellation list, please email Stephanie.

The Speakers:
Aaron + Glori Goodrich are passionate about marriage and believe that families and societies often reflect the health of marriage. Jesus led in vulnerability and taught us how to be vulnerable with one another. They have been married for over 14 years and have three energetic boys. Aaron is a licensed professional counselor who specializes in marriage and family therapy.

The Venue – Gull Lake Ministries
This facility boasts fun activities from bowling to rock climbing. Other activities will be a Euchre tournament, connecting with other couples, and quiet time for you and your spouse.

The Date
Friday, February 3 at 7pm until Sunday, February 5 until 12pm

The Investment
The actual cost per couple is $450 but are requesting couples to pay at least $300. For those who can cover the full price, we are graciously asking that they consider paying the full $450. We feel $300 is a reasonable investment for a weekend away for a marriage yet understand some couples may be walking through extenuating circumstances. For those we have some partial scholarships available.
