DESCRIPTION:Join a meal around the table with others from Crossroads during September 24th through October 8th! A Crossroads Family Meal\, at its simplest\, is a means to connect with others who call Crossroads “home”. There is so much importance in slowing down and joining with one another around the table to break bread and share stories of God’s provision and presence in our lives. The table is where relationships are deepened\, where family reconnects and where God’s faithfulness is proclaimed. We invite you to join us for a meal! \nWe love that these meals have become a regular part of the rhythm of community at Crossroads. Friends opening their homes to those in the same neighborhood or with the same heartbeat and passions; making connections and developing true friendship and family. It’s our way of making the larger Crossroads family smaller. These meals aren’t just for new people\, but for everyone. DESCRIPTION:No matter the cause of your loved one’s death\, this is an opportunity to be around people who understand what you are feeling.\nYou will learn valuable information on facing life situations\, recognize symptoms of normal emotions and those of being stuck\, and you’ll gain renewed hope for the future. These sessions are open to any adult regardless of whether your experience is recent or not so recent. The group is led by individuals who have personally experienced grief due to a loved one’s death.\nEach week includes a DVD teaching time followed by group discussion on topics relevant to your situation. You will also receive a workbook to keep you engaged throughout the week. Our hope is that you will find encouragement\, help\, and healing in grieving the death of your loved one. \nThis group will meet from September 25th through December 18th on Monday evenings from 7-8:30.
