DESCRIPTION:Short Circles are house church-like groups that run for 5 weeks. These groups will be diving into our Israel Curriculum. These communities are places where we can be known and know others through fellowship\, time in the word\, prayer\, and encouragement to individually be on mission. DESCRIPTION:Are you passionate about being part of ending the family homelessness crisis in Grand Rapids? So are we! Crossroads is privileged to host a week-long emergency family shelter three times a year in collaboration with Family Promise of Grand Rapids. We will be hosting October 22-29. To make this possible\, we need an army of volunteers to step in and provide welcome & hospitality. There are a handful of ways you can do this…through making meals\, spending time with families in the evening\, staying overnight\, setting up/tearing down and a handful of other ways! Please join us in loving these precious families during our next week. Our next week will be January 21\, 2024. DESCRIPTION:No matter the cause of your loved one’s death\, this is an opportunity to be around people who understand what you are feeling.\nYou will learn valuable information on facing life situations\, recognize symptoms of normal emotions and those of being stuck\, and you’ll gain renewed hope for the future. These sessions are open to any adult regardless of whether your experience is recent or not so recent. The group is led by individuals who have personally experienced grief due to a loved one’s death.\nEach week includes a DVD teaching time followed by group discussion on topics relevant to your situation. You will also receive a workbook to keep you engaged throughout the week. Our hope is that you will find encouragement\, help\, and healing in grieving the death of your loved one. \nThis group will meet from September 25th through December 18th on Monday evenings from 7-8:30.
