DESCRIPTION:A Crossroads Family Meal\, at its simplest\, is a means to connect with others who call Crossroads “home”.  Even more\, it’s an opportunity to share with others in the goodness of God\, to express dependence upon him as a community\, and to celebrate all that He’s done with others in the family of God. There is so much importance in slowing down and joining with one another around the table to break bread and share stories of God’s provision and presence in our lives. The table is where relationships are deepened\, where family reconnects and where God’s faithfulness is proclaimed. SUMMARY:On Mission | Family Promise
DESCRIPTION:Are you passionate about being part of ending the family homelessness crisis in Grand Rapids? So are we! Crossroads is privileged to host a week-long emergency family shelter three times a year in collaboration with Family Promise of Grand Rapids. We will be hosting April 21–28. \nTo make this possible\, we need an army of volunteers to step in and provide welcome & hospitality. There are a handful of ways you can do this…through making meals\, spending time with families in the evening\, staying overnight\, setting up/tearing down and a handful of other ways! Please join us in loving these precious families during our next week.
