SUMMARY:Women's Retelling Retreat
DESCRIPTION:The heart of a woman is wired to find connection with God and with others. We invite the women of Crossroads to a meaningful weekend of discovery—of knowing and being known—with other sisters in Christ on the journey. \nFor many women\, getting away for an extended time is a tough\, complicated ask\, yet disconnecting from the grind and finding rest is truly needed for our souls. At a retelling retreat\, you will find space to rest and reflect\, enjoy one another\, and gather with others to share about our journeys. \nWomen who have participated in a Retelling Retreat found that the weekend offered space for their hearts to come alive to the Lord as they engaged their stories with curiosity and compassion. \nThe goals for the weekend are: \n\nResting and reflecting on your journey and your Father\nSharing our stories in a comfortable\, safe space\nExploring how the enemy uses our stories to impair us relationally and missionally\nLearning how to embrace the truth of the gospel\nInviting us to develop healthy and vulnerable Kingdom relationships\nGrasping God’s love for you through your relationship with Him and other sisters in Christ\nProviding space for fun and connection with other sisters in Christ\n\nCost is $375 and includes all your lodging\, travel\, and food. DESCRIPTION:Captivity to Freedom is a community offered to men who feel captive to the slavery of sin. The truth is that many men are stuck in sexual bondage\, stuck in slavery to porn and lustful thoughts. To you\, Jesus says\, “I have come to proclaim release to the Captives\, and Freedom to the oppressed.” Join a small group of guys who are pursuing holiness and healing together. Group runs weekly from September through May. There is also a group offered on Wednesday mornings from 6:00-7:30AM. \nRegistration required. Please reach out to Andy with any questions. \n“Sixteen years ago I was shackled to every sinful desire I could imagine. My whole life I “knew” of Jesus\, but that simple knowledge did nothing to free me from a life of slavery. Somewhere deep in my soul I desired freedom but I honestly had never even thought it was possible. My marriage was deteriorating\, and I was a drunk that was driven by fear and lust.. Then God…\, through the love and counsel of a brother in Christ\, walked me through steps of repentance and forgiveness. Jesus destroyed the chains that held me captive.
