This class is intended for those in a serious dating relationship who desire to learn more about the dynamics of their relationship – both the strength areas and potential growth areas. DESCRIPTION:Band of Brothers is a small community of men who gather every Wednesday morning in the Cave to study the Bible and grow together. We pray\, share\, study and talk about how to live as men through our faith in Jesus. We meet every Wednesday morning at 6:00 am and wrap up by 7:00. We meet in person but also offer Zoom attendance if needed. Coffee and friendship are always offered. Band of Brothers is always open for new guys\, so if you want to connect right away\, make some new friends and get into God’s Word\, reach out to the leader via email and jump in. Please contact Ray Carmichael before joining us on a Wednesday morning. \n“My wife and I started attending Crossroads in the summer of 2017\, having moved to Grand Rapids from Chicago. We didn’t know anyone at church but knew God had led us there. I needed a group of men who I could trust\, enjoy and be honest with. I found it in Band of Brothers where I have grown in my faith\, encouraged by others and stretched in my understanding of Scripture. These sessions are open to any adult regardless of whether your experience is recent or not so recent. The group is led by individuals who have personally experienced grief due to a loved one’s death.\nEach week includes a DVD teaching time followed by group discussion on topics relevant to your situation. You will also receive a workbook to keep you engaged throughout the week. DESCRIPTION:Join with a bunch of guys around the fire in the Rockford area on the 2nd Friday of the month! Fireside Gatherings are for any guys over the age of 18\, who desire to grow in their faith in a laid back\, and welcoming atmosphere where they are free to be themselves. Typically\, we will spend the first little while catching up with friends and getting to know any newcomers while enjoying some good food. Then one of our Crossroads guys will share some of their story and give us some questions and ideas to kick around. Conversations will generally center around the lessons learned through our experiences of walking as Jesus followers in everyday life. \nReal stories\, real guys\, real life… \nWe also believe Fireside gives us a chance to encourage and support any guys who are in the midst of hard stuff\, so every gathering has a time for prayer and coming around guys who may be feeling it.
