DESCRIPTION:The Outpost is a place for middle and high school students to belong\, grow\, and be challenged in their faith. The name Outpost reflects our desire to raise and encourage the next generation to be outposts of Christ in their schools\, neighborhoods\, and everyday spaces. Our hope is to see students raised up as devoted\, wholehearted followers of Christ\, equipped to understand who they are in Him and the purpose He has for their lives. \nAt Outpost\, our small groups are where deep connections and impactful discipleship happen. Meeting twice a month\, these groups are divided by grade and gender to foster a comfortable environment for students to grow in their faith alongside peers. Each group is led by caring adults who are passionate about mentoring and guiding students in their spiritual journey. These gatherings take place at Crossroads or in various locations nearby\, providing an intimate setting for meaningful discussions\, prayer\, and growth. This class is intended for those in a serious dating relationship who desire to learn more about the dynamics of their relationship – both the strength areas and potential growth areas. We will also cover God’s plan\, purpose\, and design for marriage; how to best evaluate a relationship; characteristics of a healthy relationship along with common struggles; and how to make a godly decision. \n\nIf you did not attend God’s Vision for Marriage teachings at The Post\, we require that you listen to a recording of that class prior to attending this class.\nEach couple needs to take the Couple Check-up relationship assessment and bring their results to the class. If you want us to print them for you\, you can email them to Jean.\n\nRegister Here\nCost: $35 to take the assessment online \nWe recommend you take the assessment 2-3 weeks prior to the start of the class. DESCRIPTION:No matter the cause of your loved one’s death\, this is an opportunity to be around people who understand what you are feeling. \nYou will learn valuable information on facing life situations\, recognize symptoms of normal emotions and those of being stuck\, and you’ll gain renewed hope for the future. These sessions are open to any adult regardless of whether your experience is recent or not so recent. The group is led by individuals who have personally experienced grief due to a loved one’s death. \nEach week includes a DVD teaching time followed by group discussion on topics relevant to your situation. You will also receive a workbook to keep you engaged throughout the week. Our hope is that you will find encouragement\, help\, and healing in grieving the death of your loved one. \nThis group will meet from September 14–December 14. DESCRIPTION:Band of Brothers is a small community of men who gather every Wednesday morning in the Cave to study the Bible and grow together. We pray\, share\, study and talk about how to live as men through our faith in Jesus. We meet every Wednesday morning at 6:00 am and wrap up by 7:00. We meet in person but also offer Zoom attendance if needed. Coffee and friendship are always offered. Band of Brothers is always open for new guys\, so if you want to connect right away\, make some new friends and get into God’s Word\, reach out to the leader via email and jump in. Please contact Ray Carmichael before joining us on a Wednesday morning. \n“My wife and I started attending Crossroads in the summer of 2017\, having moved to Grand Rapids from Chicago. We didn’t know anyone at church but knew God had led us there. I needed a group of men who I could trust\, enjoy and be honest with. I found it in Band of Brothers where I have grown in my faith\, encouraged by others and stretched in my understanding of Scripture. This class is intended for those in a serious dating relationship who desire to learn more about the dynamics of their relationship – both the strength areas and potential growth areas. We will also cover God’s plan\, purpose\, and design for marriage; how to best evaluate a relationship; characteristics of a healthy relationship along with common struggles; and how to make a godly decision. \n\nIf you did not attend God’s Vision for Marriage teachings at The Post\, we require that you listen to a recording of that class prior to attending this class.\nEach couple needs to take the Couple Check-up relationship assessment and bring their results to the class.
