SUMMARY:Women's Retelling Retreat
DESCRIPTION:The heart of a woman is wired to find connection with God and with others. We invite the women of Crossroads to a meaningful weekend of discovery—of knowing and being known—with other sisters in Christ on the journey. \nFor many women\, getting away for an extended time is a tough\, complicated ask\, yet disconnecting from the grind and finding rest is truly needed for our souls. At a retelling retreat\, you will find space to rest and reflect\, enjoy one another\, and gather with others to share about our journeys. \nWomen who have participated in a Retelling Retreat found that the weekend offered space for their hearts to come alive to the Lord as they engaged their stories with curiosity and compassion. \nThe goals for the weekend are: \n\nResting and reflecting on your journey and your Father\nSharing our stories in a comfortable\, safe space\nExploring how the enemy uses our stories to impair us relationally and missionally\nLearning how to embrace the truth of the gospel\nInviting us to develop healthy and vulnerable Kingdom relationships\nGrasping God’s love for you through your relationship with Him and other sisters in Christ\nProviding space for fun and connection with other sisters in Christ\n\nCost is $375 and includes all your lodging\, travel\, and food. If finances are a barrier\, please reach out to Stephanie. \nPlease note that there is a mandatory pre-trip on December 30th at 7pm and a post-trip on January 29th at 7pm. \nregister here

SUMMARY:Adopt & Foster | Equip Moms' Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Join us for worship\, meals\, laughter & and time to connect with current and prospective foster/adoptive/kinship moms. \nDaniela Coats will be joining us! Daniela grew up as a “birth kid\,” her parents having fostered and adopted. She and her husband now have six children – four through adoption and two by birth. \nDaniela obtained her Masters of Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington and also holds an undergraduate degree in Bible. Daniela founded With Siblings in 2022\, an organization dedicated to supporting birth children in foster and adoptive families by equipping parents and professionals through training and resources. \nRegistration includes dinner Friday night\, breakfast Saturday morning\, Saturday lunch & plenty of drinks and snacks in between! Crossroads Bible Church has generously provided their space for this event! For those who want to add an overnight stay\, you can make reservations at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Grand Rapids\, which is just a short walk across the river! \nIf finances are a barrier to attending\, we have scholarships available!
