Summer Prayer & Worship

June 26, July 24, August 28 | 5pm | The Upper Room
Join us this summer as we gather on the fourth Sunday of each month for prayer and worship! This is a great way for us to stay connected in these more relaxed months. We will gather in the Upper Room from 5–6pm, and then will have the opportunity to stick around and enjoy fellowship over some fun summertime food and treats! All ages are welcome.

Family Meals

June 19–30 & July 17–31
A Crossroads Family Meal, at its simplest, is a means to connect with others who call Crossroads "home". There is so much importance in slowing down and joining with one another around the table to break bread and share stories of God's provision and presence in our lives. The table is where relationships are deepened, where family reconnects and where God's faithfulness is proclaimed.

Art in the Barn

June 23 | 7pm | Wyoming
We will be making covers for a personalized journal book and accompanying spiral bound memory verse book for you to use all summer long. We will be using a printmaking method using real flowers and leaves on a Gelli plate as well as flower pounding to create a complimentary set. Dessert, snacks and drinks provided!

June Book club

June 27 | 7pm | Grandville
For our June Book Club, we will be discussing the book ”Women Who Risk: Secret Agents for Jesus in the Muslim World” with one another! We can't wait to learn about these breathtaking and heart-rending stories of incredible women spreading the gospel.

Picnic & Paddleboard Night with Freedom Paddle Co

July 19 | 5:30–9pm | Wabasis Lake
We are excited to spend an evening paddleboarding and kayaking with Freedom Paddle Co! Simply bring yourself and a towel, and we'll take care of the rest. Dinner will also be provided.
This event will allow a survivor of human trafficking to join Freedom Paddle Co for a weekend getaway focused on whole-body health and outdoor education, right here in Michigan! You'll even have a chance to write encouraging notes to these incredible survivors for their welcome bags at their retreat.

You are invited as ladies, sisters, mothers and friends to come and reflect on life and the season you are in. Our lives and experiences are rich and it forms deep trails in our lives. Some experiences are painful, yet others rich… These shape our faith and character. God meets us in all of these circumstances! Come join us to reflect, ponder, share, and create through art using various materials. You do not need to be an artist to come!

We will be discussing the book "Joni: An Unforgettable Story” with one another! This book will highlight a modern-day heroine of the faith who leaned into her suffering and used it to bring glory to God. Purchase the book here.

Keep summer memories close with a simple watercolor seascape. Faith VanEnk will walk you through each step! You will go home with extra supplies to paint something at home. Snacks and drinks provided.

Fireside Gatherings | More Info

June 25, July 23, August 27 | 6:3opm | Byron Center, MI
Every fourth Saturday, gather with a group of men around the fire to hear real stories, from real guys, about real life. Each month, a Crossroads guy will share and tee up a conversation about faith and the masculine journey. Guys 18+ are welcome.

Manistee River Trail & Canoe Trip

July 15–17 | Mesick, MI
The weekend will be a combination of fun and adventure in the outdoors, space to breathe and reflect, and great conversations with the guys on the trip. If you enjoy backpacking on beautiful hiking trails by pristine rivers and creeks, as well as a chance to explore with a group of guys who are pursuing God and brotherhood together, join us! This is open for guys high school age on up!

Student Ministries Summer Kickoff

Sunday, June 5th we will be hosting our student ministries summer kickoff right after the 10:45am gathering! There will be hotdogs, popsicles, games, and a lot of fun! We would love to welcome the current 5th graders and any families to the kickoff as well.

Our young adult community is headed out to the ballpark! We would love for you to join us for a night of baseball with friends new and old, cheering on our very own West Michigan Whitecaps.

The Walk | Road Rally

Join the college ministry in this city wide group scavenger hunt! As a growing tradition for The Walk, the Road Rally is a mash up of the Amazing Race, your local Escape Room, and a typical church scavenger hunt..talk about epic! Check back here for sign-ups, times, and more details to come! 

The Walk | Rogue River Float

What says “Summer” more than a river float in July!? Join the college ministry for an afternoon river float just North of Grand Rapids on the Rogue River. We’ll meet at Crossroads at 1:30p to carpool up.

Our young adult community will be gathering after church for a cookout, lawn games, and volleyball at Millennium Park! Burgers, hot dogs, and drinks will be provided. Signups will be posted here later this Summer!

Making the very most of summer, we are headed to Lake Michigan! Join the college ministry after church as we head to North Park Beach for an afternoon and evening of swimming, beach volleyball, food, and fellowship. More info to come! Signups will be posted here later this Summer!

The Walk | Fall Kickoff
