Prayer Guide

Sunday, March 2nd, will kick off 24/7 prayer and lead our church family into the Lenten season.

As a church family, for the 40 days of Lent (excluding our weekend gatherings) we will focus on Jesus’ fasting in the wilderness and his temptation (Matthew 4). Let’s take this season as an opportunity to repent and examine our hearts to prepare for the holy celebration of Jesus’ resurrection. We don’t use this season to try and earn favor from God, but as a means to understand and experience his extravagant grace. We encourage you to enter this lenten season with curiosity as to what is clouding your view of Jesus. What is standing in between you and full devotion to Him? This may look like a season of fasting for you, it may look like a season of acknowledging the idols that you have put in front of Him. It may look like repentance from these idols.

The first week will be Monday 3/3-Sunday 3/9. We will focus on Jesus’ temptation in the desert as we walk through 24/7 prayer as a community.

The next five Mondays of Lent, we will engage with the parable from the previous weekend gatherings. We will list the parable and other related Scriptures for you to read. There will also be prayers, poetry, and lyrics to help you focus on Jesus and your relationship with Him for the coming week.

The last week of Lent, we will focus on the final days before Jesus’ death on the cross.
