Kellie & Ryan Hannah

The Hannah family—Ryan, Kellie, Levi and Noah—are based in Chiang Mai, Thailand. This city is a strategic gathering spot for missionaries from throughout Asia as well as the Thai community — it’s where Ryan serves them through professional counseling.

We attended Crossroads since Fall 2013. We began serving on the brew crew and welcome team. Eventually Ryan became involved in the men’s ministry. While I, Kellie, served as a youth group leader for seven years, I participated in a variety of women’s studies and I occasionally helped in the nursery on Sunday mornings. Together, Ryan and I have participated in a variety of roles with the care and counseling department.

During our time at Crossroads we walked through seasons of restoration individually and in our marriage. We witnessed the power of a trained, caring, professional, Christian counselor. This has impassioned us to help meet the great need of providing professional and biblical counseling to missionaries in the field, many of whom are struggling with personal and relationship issues, and often burning out.

Ryan is a seminary-trained trauma therapist with a specialization in marriages. He works at Cornerstone Counseling Foundation (CCF) which offers professional counseling for individuals, marriages, and families seeking care for a multitude of reasons. Last year, CCF provided services for missionaries working in 34 different countries. Ryan also supports the local Thai community through much-needed mental health education and training. We believe God desires all to flourish in health and wholeness. We also see this opportunity at CCF as a strategic opportunity to help keep missionaries in the field, so they can continue the work to which God has called them.
