At Crossroads, our Elder Board exists to guard the heart and health of the church. As both theological and fiduciary overseers, they ensure we remain grounded in biblical truth and faithful in stewarding the resources entrusted to us. In addition, the elders play a primary role in shepherding the church body offering deep spiritual care to our congregation and serving as a steady presence in both joyful and challenging seasons.
We embrace a shared leadership model, one that reflects the biblical pattern of shared leadership. Our elders lead together—with humility, wisdom, and unity—believing that collective discernment and prayerful collaboration create space for the Holy Spirit to lead. Together, they affirm and protect the mission, doctrine, and direction of our church.
Elders provide steady guidance and spiritual oversight by coming alongside our staff, leaders, and people with prayer, encouragement, discernment, and support. They serve as liaisons to ministry areas, offering leaders a safe and supportive space to process, be prayed for, and be strengthened in their calling.
Our board includes both staff and lay elders:
- Four staff elders serve: our Lead Pastor and Executive Pastor, along with two others who rotate every three years.
- Nine lay elders—trusted leaders from within the congregation—serve staggered four-year terms.
If you are in a season of discernment, walking through pain, or simply need someone to pray with, you don’t have to walk alone. Our elders are here to listen, support, and walk with you—as fellow followers of Christ, committed to shepherding with love and faithfulness.
Here are our current elders.
