Ben & Suzi Collins
Ben & Suzi, and their family, have been working in Thailand for their entire career. They founded an agricultural community in the north and after many years moved to Bangkok to develop new workers and reach students. They have suffered many physical and relational hardships and loss during their time in Thailand.
After much prayer and conversation, we will be flying to Michigan at the very end of March without plans to return to continue ministry based in Thailand. It’s not an easy decision to make after more than 10 years on the field—where we were married and where all of our children were born! Coming back to a place of stability, peace, and clarity after recent hardships, we believe the next phase of life and ministry for our family should be back in America.
What’s next? We’re still working on details, but Ben is actively seeking employment opportunities, and at the same time we’ll be continuing in a part-time capacity with ABWE, connecting and advocating for all of the local partners in Thailand, and being available as a resource for anyone interested to connect, give to needs in, or serve in Thailand. After all, the harvest is still plentiful!
