Nolan & Stephanie
Nolan is a family medicine doctor and Stephanie is an emergency medicine doctor. They, along with daughter Grace, and another child on the way, are serving in a country that is not at all welcoming of Christian missionaries and evangelistic outreach, so we are careful to not disclose much about the details of their work. This couple is so counter the typical American-dream culture, and so exemplary of the kingdom of heaven.
For years we felt called to serve full-time and long-term in an area that is both underserved in medical care and in real need of spiritual rebirth. (In fact, Stephanie felt this call starting way back in middle school!)
We are currently in a major city learning the local language and culture, then we will move and live near a regional hospital where our professional work will be based. The medical skillset we bring with us is needed and because of that, we are welcomed warmly.
We are connected with a global mission agency that is working to ensure our smooth entry into this strategic international posting.
We love Crossroads! During our residency, knowing that our schedules would be difficult to fit other activities into, we actually joined two house churches so we’d have a better chance at being able to make it to at least one of them!
