Mike & Sarah Harwood
Michael & Sarah Harwood, along with their kids Dawson, Beau, Ollie, and Lilah, live near Barcelona, Spain and minister throughout Europe with the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students. They primarily work to develop the work of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship on college campuses across Europe.
We serve with InterVarsity’s Spanish sister movement, Grupos Bíblicos Unidos, serving students around Spain in the areas of discipleship, evangelism, training, and spiritual formation. The university is such a key center for personal and spiritual formation. We also shepherd American InterVarsity staff who are serving by invitation in the European region. We provide them with member care, help place and supervise their work, and care for a variety of international ministry partnerships and programs. We long to see students and faculty be transformed, the campus renewed, and world-changers developed.
We first got involved at Crossroads as college students at GVSU around 2011, where we ate up each Sunday’s teaching and were inspired to live a missional life. Before departing overseas in 2018, we became partners at Crossroads and attended while serving GVSU´s campus as InterVarsity staff from 2013-2018.
While we have been overseas for the past seven years, we regularly watch Crossroads’ livestream services for some English practice, and to be challenged by the word of the Lord. We were delighted to join Rod and Libby in Israel in 2023, which forever changed our love for and relationship with the Bible. We call Crossroads home whenever we find themselves in the States for a quick weekend, or a month or two. Thank you for your partnership!
