Jeff & Christie Lothamer

Jeff & Christie have been serving in the UK (Oxfordshire) since 2011, primarily working to plant local churches and to lead and develop networks of like-minded Christians.

We met Matt Stowell and Rod VanSolkema years ago and found out we shared a common passion for discipleship and church planting. After their visit to the UK to see our work, we began a partnership. In 2022 we travelled to Israel with a group from Crossroads. This has led to deeper friendships and discipleship relationships within the Crossroads community.

We have spent the past decade pioneering the Journey Collective, a growing network of micro-churches. While the collective is now supported by UK-based leadership, the Lothamers continue to play a crucial role in guiding its local mission as elders. Jeff oversees FLTRCoffee, Journey’s community coffee shop, and together they lead a micro-church that regularly extends the love of Jesus to those passionate about basketball and living in their neighborhood.

Jeff also serves as the director of Kairos Connexion, a relational network of churches and leaders across the UK that collaborates to see kingdom movement, with a strong focus on mission and discipleship.

Christie is spearheading the Micro-church Network, an arm of Kairos Connexion that supports leaders making disciples among niche groups to see new micro-churches emerge in the UK. Our desire is to see brave communities and micro-churches form across the UK that help people discover Jesus.
