Rod said that Ruth had to totally trust that Boaz could redeem her from her situation where she had nothing. Describe time in your life when you had to fully trust God because of something important or the loss of someone. What did it look like when you fully trusted yourself and not God?

How has God shown you his “hesed” because of your trust? (loving kindness, steadfast love)

Rod described the woman who had been bleeding as desperately needing to touch Jesus’ robe to be healed. How desperate are you for Jesus? How can you become more desperate for Jesus?
