Rod mentioned if we make anything the Lord our lives, that will hold mastery over us, we become enslaved to those things: reflect on the things you have let enslave you. (you can share or don't have to)

Rod talked about how the story of this man (possessed by demons) sums up the whole Bible. That Jesus would go out of his way for one...that this guy could be any one of us. For God so loved the world... that he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
How does this make you feel or what does this evoke in your mind?

Rod mentioned that all Jesus had to do was say "shut up" to the winds and waves or say "get out" to the demons. Do we live like he has that power in our lives?

When Jesus changes us...he also transforms us...as Paul says we are DRESSED in his righteousness- all the shame, uncleanliness, guilt is turned clean. Rod asked, have you been touched by the finger of God? Has he transformed you?

Can you think of someone in your life that you think, there is no way God could ever reach them?

The man that was possessed, after he was clean asks Jesus if he could go with him. Jesus told him to stay and record the great things the Lord has done for him so everyone will marvel. What changes in your life are evident to those around you? Do you have a story to tell about how Jesus has changed you?

Why are we embarrassed about our pasts or about when we drifted away from God? That's our story...I once was lost...

Jesus says this is what will change Decapolis, this is what will change our world. Go and tell...
